Survival Pouch

Long time no craft.

I carry with me a large swiss-knife since I was 11 and I still don't understand how people can live without this quintessential tool. I had it for so long and it help me on so many occasions that it is now an extension of me. It's my most precious belonging, and I would feel naked without it. Every function of it is useful to me and there is not a day when I have to resort to my old boy to perform another task.

I used to carry it in his own leather pouch, but time has passed. Metal and Bakelite are sturdier than leather, and I like my pockets without holes. Multiples pouches on a belt requires a precise adjustment to allow blind manipulation, and this design, made from a doubled sturdy hide, is quite the ideal. Doubling the covers was a great idea, giving me more room to slip and carry littles thingies. With only one hand, I can now summon what I need  in the blink of an eye :
- My beloved Office Swiss Knife from Victorinox,
- Steel USB key,
- Wallet notebook with pen, radio shield sleeve for RFID cards and bookmarks,
- Maglite LED pocket light,
- lighter. (I don't smoke, but this is a tool everyone need),
- Waterproof cylinder for stuff,
- many sleeves for papers and more stuff.
