This is the fourth version of my Larp Leather Armor.
Not much is visible to the eyes, but there is many improvements since the v3 : - I now have a leather tunique underneath, - the arms are fixed under the inner pauldrons, - the fur descents are now fixed to the armor, levering the weigh on my hips, - full legs protection, - the outer pauldrons are fixed to the inner's one more closely to the neck, - the helmet and the head protection inside have ear holes, which is essential to get the orders right, - lost the amber stone of my right glove
The whole becomes a little heavy to wear., but really comfy and not too hot. Besides I can bend, sit, jump and run on short distances without problems.
To run on long distances, I need to work on my stamina.
Thanks a lot for bringing this to my attention. I have no issues with reworking or reposting my work, but it would have be nice to get at least a backlink and a credit name .
Oh my god. The is so good. I cant image how much work and time you put into this. I see thought that it was so very woth it. Love the book straps. Who am i kidding love the whole thing.
Ps. Dont feel too bad for the amber stone. Maybe you can remove the amber holder and draw your own coat of arms or insignia on the glove. Asymetry is pretty. (If you do, dont forget to send photos : ) )
It did takes a lot of time, adding parts here and then. The books were part of an early character and since then, I always keep them close for they are really decorative and useful. As long as I'm not opening them before the youngest... You see, the black one is a Rabelesian breviary, so it is X-rated. :3
I know I will find a replacement to the amber stone. It's just they were perfect, so I'm a little sad. :/
